As posted at Marathon's Story, Millenium Mac Games is running a poll asking which was the best Bungie game ever made. And with the push from the Marathon addicts among us, Marathon 2 is in the lead with... 3 votes? Chimera is only two votes away... hee hee.
Cast your vote, folks, and flesh this thing out a wee bit. Never hurts to crush a poll every now and then, even if all of the options are equally righteous (okay, except possibly Weekend Warrior ;).
Apparently, something between us and most of our readers was acting up yesterday (though, oddly, one reader in Khazhakstan was still able to access it), so sorry about that brief vanishing act. The router responsible has been sacked. We now continue our regularily scheduled broadcast.
Matt Soell spoke up in the HBO forum on the issue of the recent Myth III rumors:
> Correction: It says they have not *announced* any plans for a Myth III.There's a reason for that.... :-)
I know what the Myth II guys are working on now, and I'm privy to some of the names we've discussed for the project, and Myth III is not one of those names.
We now return you to your previously scheduled Halo discussion.

That crazy 3D modeling guru, Ian McConville, has supplied Halo.Bungie.Org with a new batch of weapons models. His latest work includes the Covenant energy pistol and what he calls a fuel rod gun. Go and check it out!
We've known that The Team Formerly Known as Myth II (TTFKAM2) has been working on something for awhile. Something pointed out by HWED at the Myth Townhall is that UGR has some interesting items in its release date listing:
Hee hee... Forrest of myth.bungie.org posted an interesting little request in the forum seeking any old school Myth players who are interested in writing a sort of Myth version of the biblical genesis story. All done in good taste, of course.
We were informed by Death Adder about a new Halo site that he has created, called Halothon. He's having just a little difficulty with the forum but plans to fix that as soon as possible. Swing by and take a look at the newest member of the Halo fansite community.
R@ge of Halo Center sent a message that they're holding a chat tonight until 0300 CST. The server is oxygen.mgochat.com and the room #halo. Have fun if you get a chance to drop in.
Braving the ixnay on posting the scans from the recent, rather revealing PCXL article, Battleground: Halo has posted the three page article in all it's 1.2 megs of goodness. Some terrific shots there, including some of the only hinted at human aircraft. And almost as importantly, the text is somewhat legible, so the article itself can be made out.
Let's hope PCXL doesn't take this as a kick at them while they're down--there's some valuable material in that article, and if you want the real deal, go buy a copy anyways.
