GameFan Online has been cranking out various post-E3 items and today - their sixth day of the GFO E3 Video Onslaught (Why couldn't it have been the seventh day?) - they've posted up some gameplay footage of Oni on the PS2. There's another videogame in the works named Onimusha that is getting some coverage at various sites as well, which may lead to some confusion for console gamers. Oni will just have to kick some musha butt.
Vector over at Battleground: Halo was able to wring a couple of more bits of information out of Bungie's PR master, Doug Zartman. In addition to some information about Halo's editors, they asked this:
Cross his palm with silver! Noctavis' prediction that HBO would transcribe the text from the May and June PCXL Halo articles came true today. The Angels Sing focuses on solo play, while Tired of Playing with Yourself? mainly concerns multiplayer. Go check 'em out; they're more complete than the highlights posted here earlier.
Many of you have remarked on the simplistic damage modeling in recent Oni trailers/screenshots...big colorful flashes, but little blood or persistent evidence of impacts, and some have suggested that they've just turned it off temporarily while they're making improvements. Matt confirms this on the Oni Central forum:
Yep. Along with the marks left by bullets, blood will look much better than it used to.

The general gaming site Gamers.Com has made a listing of the various companies attending E32K. Here's what they had to say about Bungie's booth:
Poor neglected poll, suffering our slow updating with its limitless patience. Wrapping up last week's poll, which asked how the cancellation of Oni's multiplayer affected buying decisions, we apparently have a two to one split among the 450 voters:
The people at Machinima, a site devoted to those who make movies with computer gaming technology, expressed their enthusiasm for the idea of making movies in the Halo engine. Their coverage starts here and they specifically address Halo here. Machinima reports the existence of a demo editor which will ship with the public version of Halo. Take a look at this blurb:
On the 22nd we reported about Epic's Mark Rein stating that they wanted Unreal 2's engine to top Halo. Today R.net found out that Thresh's Firing Squad conducted an interview with Brandon Reinhart and have posted it up. Here's a snippet:
Thanks to Flite feeding us some intelligence from the Far East, we now know that reprints of previous Time and Newsweek articles have now appeared in the Asian editions of those magazines. Bungie World Domination marches forward! Thanks for the heads-up Flite!
