Zandervix over at MBO has posted a note on the availability of Myth Browser v1.81; it runs on Windows and Mac OS X (requires X11) and allows you to browse Myth games running on PlayMyth and Marius.net.

BGH forumgoer Noctaurus has produced a more complete and accurate transcription of the X03 video that came out earlier this week; thanks TankRamp at BGH.
Westlake's Sulak, Oliver Spill The Beans
HBO's Louis Wu got Westlake president Phil Sulak to provide the most up-to-the-minute info on the status of the Mac Halo port; in addition, Blackstar pointed out an interview with Westlake's Brad Oliver at IMG that tangentially mentions that Mac Halo is such a "complicated beast" that it requires three programmers to port. Hmm.
The HBO interview has some great info in it, namely:
- Westlake has Gearbox's "final code", so the target has stopped moving
- Mac Halo is now "really stable"
- Halo's source code contains obscenities that would "make a Russian sailor blush"
- Possiblity of Dolby 5.1 support is "hazy"

Multiple Perspectives On Specifications
Want specs for PC Halo? There's a bunch: the official PC Halo site, and the other... official... PC Halo site... uh.. anyway. Most of the info is the same, except it's more specific in some areas. Apparently you can run Halo under Windows 98. Well, I'll be damned, it's good for something! Thanks to Louis Wu at HBO.
Halo 2 Snubbed At X03 Awards
For the first time, X03 had awards at their show; Rainbox Six 3 won Best of Show, Ninja Gaiden won the Technical Achievement Award, and Fable won the Innovation award. Thanks GamesDomain.
Mapmaking Afoot At Subnova
Two mapmaking-related updates from Subnova lately.
The first is the formation of a PC Halo Mapmaking group called The Silent Cartographers. They intend to make maps, weapons and vehicles for Halo PC, and unlike most other mapmaking groups, they are not recruiting new members.
The second is Marathon mapmaking news; the Windows editors Obed and M2Shaper have been updated; the newest versions now work with the latest version of Aleph One.
I'd Like To See You In Chambers
RedvsBlue has put up its fifth and final Public Service Announcement for season 1; next week is the final episode in that season. After that, there will be a short break while they revise the site and make the Season 1 DVD. Thanks buzby.
RvB To Present At Texas Film Festival
gfunk over at Red vs. Blue posted that they'll be showing some, perhaps, all, of their episodes atht the CinemaTexas International Film Festival in Austin, Texas at an event called Games Without Borders. It's at the University of Texas campus on Saturday, September 20th at 3 PM. gfunk also goes on to detail what the rest of the day will include, but I'll let you read that yourself.
Hooters: Evolved

Anyway, Gearbox is apparently taking that gold master CD on a world tour; the latest pic shows it visiting some of the earnest employees of Hooters. We thought twice about it, then archived this one in the PC Halo Gallery anyway.
