An HBO forumgoer named pilotelite seems to have found a new item on the Red vs Blue site-- a page entitled The History of Red vs Blue, as told by Geoff Fink. I won't spoil the details except to say that I'm sure Justin Timberlake is glad things worked out the way they did.
MS Removing Last Obstacle To EA On XBL?
IGN has an interview with Greg Thomas of Visual Concepts; they develop the ESPN branded sports games for Sega. In the interview, he mentions that MS is introducing LSP (Live Server Protocol) next year that will allow developers to host their own servers with Xbox Live, something that stopped Electronic Arts from bringing their industry-leading sports games to the XBL service when it launched. Coupled with MS' cancellation of the 2005 season of its own XSN sports games, this could indicate a readiness on EA's part to play ball in MS' field soon.

Louis Wu mentioned in the HBO forum that there are a lot of entries for the Win A Date With One One Se7en contest currently going on at HBO, and not a few are not making the cut because submitters are not following the directions. In short:
- Fill out the form completely, including which option (1, 2 or 3) your strip is.
- Do NOT post your entry in the forum.

The Fable Of SpamCannon
Ross Mills notes in the HBO forum that if anybody is ordering the Fable DVD, to watch during the "Making Of" vid that's on the disc, as you might catch a glimpse of him wearing a Halo t-shirt. Mills was a Fable tester.
Red Sucks! Blue Chips Are Up!
Some news from Red vs Blue: first, the latest episode, 29, is available for sponsors.
Second, a Wall Street Journal reporter watched them make a recent episode and wrote an article that appeared on the front page of the WSJ's Friday edition. Over at HBO, Louis Wu notes that one Jon Keegan who works for the WSJ has sent a link that works for nonsubscribers for the next seven days, so all the Halo fans can read the story.
New Bungie.net Almost Ready?
Achronos has posted on Bungie.net again about the site, which they expect to be down for perhaps as long as 6 hours on Monday morning starting at 8 Pacific. This covers all official Bungie websites.

Bungie Update, Now With 50% More Smack Talk
Nice big, juicy update at Sector 7 this week. Frankie promises to talk about dialog, sound effects, animation and Xbox Live, but also mentions how Jaime "Flawless Cowboy" Griesemer is down in the Griespit working on CENSORED and how "something cool" is going to happen on Bungie.net next week; in fact, Monday April 12 is marked with a red X on Mister Chief's calendar, so maybe everybody should check on Bungie.net then. Or perhaps Mister Chief is just hoping to win that date with One One Se7en.
