Personaly i think halo should have been then end of the series. But if you have completed halo 3 on legendary you'd understand that its not, how can they finish the series with a cliff hanger? wouldnt work. and i agree that if the halo series ends master chief needs to hit the dust.
I obviously want there to be another halo, it's like reading a good book series and you just don't want it to end. Yet bungie tied up the story pretty well, the prophets are dead, the flood gone, and the elites went home, so I really can't see how they would pick the story up again. Of course, if it is over then I would like to know the planet that the chief is falling towards, I've heard theories that it's Earth but I thought that he didn't make it through the portal in time.
[b]Ok look, if you have done like i have and sucked your gut in and played the game thru Legendary and beaten it you would know that there is an EXTENSION TO THE LAST SEEN AFTER THE CREDITS. i know that is already is one but it will show more and it will show why there HAS TO BE A HALO 4. i wont spoil it but its pretty cool just remember[spoiler] to keep one eye out the window on the very last part of the seen and you will see something pretty amazing. you will be all like "HOLY **** WHAT THE **** IS THAT!!!! No. They should stop making any Halo4,5 or 6 thing. I cannot predicate the possible destiney of the other sequels after Halo 3, but I don't think more sequels would help HAlO from any aspects. From the news and documentaries posted online, it is not difficult to see that the focus of Halo 3 is its Multiplayer. And as a lot of people have stated that, except the graphics, Halo3's campaign is weaker than Halo and Halo2. In my opinion, if not because of the fantastic story of Halo, Bungie would never need to design two more games to finish the fight. For most of the gamers, Multiplayer is more attractive than the Campaign. Halo3's campaign is just a side dish for the Multiplayer. Let's just stop demanding the designers to give us an answer about the Chief's journey. Sometimes a not so perfect ending is perfect!

i completely agree and think that the only reason they rely made Halo 3 was to finish the fight and upgrade the multi player Online status and things. i think they will make more tho because if your getting money for something why would you stop? And anyways they already sayd they were going to remake Marathon... AND RED VS BLUE IS FUCKING AWESOME...

No. They should stop making any Halo4,5 or 6 thing. I cannot predicate the possible destiney of the other sequels after Halo 3, but I don't think more sequels would help HAlO from any aspects. They should make some kind of game like Halo prelude or something to see the battle for Reach. And of course there has to be some kind of answer to Halo 3s secret ending. Maybe St. Nylund will add to the Holy Bible to satisfy our needs.

Halo is an amazing series and there is no reason for them to stop on their quest for world domination! Halo3 campain wasent all that gret but its another reason to make another game.If you saw the ending of the campain on legendary then you would no there will amost definitly be making a sequel if they dont that sucks but halo 3 is still great
