Since Marty O'Donnell just posted a version of the Halo MWNY trailer from 1999, (view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XL0hrSSUpHw ) I thought I'd splice together a side-by-side comparison of that version and the one from Bungie's own YouTube channel, which I remember as being the version actually shown to the MWNY audience and captured in multiple shakycam videos.

A few notes about our playthrough:

We played Marathon and Marathon Infinity on Normal difficulty. We increased the difficulty on Marathon 2: Durandal to Major Damage to compensate for our somewhat higher familiarity with the levels of that game.

No need to wait for strange aeons for Blackstar and Narcogen to die, even in a level with hardly any enemies! In this case, we're bringing the plot of Marathon Infinity to a close by completing the activation of the dormant S'pht AI, Thoth, so he/she/it can call in the S'pht'Kr cavalry to kick Pfhor butt.
