Halo SETI Promo
I saw this and couldn't resist: halo.bungie.org has moved into the propaganda business with their Halo SETI promotion. I love their slogan... it's so perfect for the theme and topic. :)

After an ugly struggle with the Database's SSI scripting, I've got that article archive back up and running. Still not much in it (I'm not a very prolific writer), but at least it's working again.
On the topic, I'm wondering aloud if any readers out there would be interested in submitting their articles to the engine. If you're at all keen on the idea, leave a post or fire off an email.
An interesting post at Marathon's Story about blam.com, a domain name that received a lot of attention when Halo was still codenamed blam . While obviously not a Halo site, it turns out it does have connections with Bungie after all...
In this line of work, anyway. Yet more forum tweaks, and I promise I'll have the assorted subsections of the site up to date soon. Not enough news for me to use it as an excuse anymore. Hmm...
Mostly site specific news around the web today... if you're making your rounds, you're not missing anything. And if you're not, well, you're still not missing a whole lot. ;)
Kudos to Fly Molo, who pointed out a news item at psx.ign.com that further confirms Halo for the PS2, but oddly enough not the Dreamcast.
The Playstation 2 port is expected to come after the PC-Mac simultaneous release. This should be welcome for people out there who can't afford to upgrade their systems for Halo but want to enjoy it nonetheless.
I've been a bit sluggish with the email for the last few weeks, and worse with the news. But my calender is finally beginning to clear up, and I'll try to catch up on these things pronto.
Thanks again to everyone who emails in their news and announcements, even if I've been too slow in posting them. The Core thrives on such input, and I've only got a few more things to clear off my plate before I can concentrate on it again.
Kudos to Mach for pointing out a new Halo preview at Gamespot UK. Some new information, especially regarding character animations and the storyline, and a complete version of an old partial screenshot (though their gamma is unfortunately horrific). Definitely worth the click and load.
Giles sends this reminder of a weekly Halo newsletter, something for which there has been a demand (especially during those busy weeks we get every now and then):
Kudos to fozzy, who pointed out a new Halo preview at Daily Radar.
The article raves about the engine, which is standard for these previews, but doesn't offer a lot of new information. However, some interesting multiplayer goals are offered, further detailing Bungie's desire to promote team play and a vibrant online community. Definitely worth stopping by.
