In a post on the halo.bungie.org forum, Matt Soell has responded to Jester's... ahem... question regarding why gaming magazines seem to get the bulk of the revelations and other juicy tidbits about Halo and other Bungie games.

Good job, guys!
Halo is now doing well in all of the polls we currently know about. At Alloy Gaming it has pulled ahead with 51.87% to Tribes 2's 37.38%. Halo has gained and is barely keeping the summit at Well-Rounded Entertainment's poll, staying just a hair above Deus Ex.
