MoBill on the H.borg forums pointed out a link to an article at PCFormat magazine. According to the article, Microsoft has confirmed that Halo will be released for the PC as well as the X-Box. From the article:

Kudos to Kelstek, who posted an interesting comment mailed to Total Codex contributers by Bungie's Joseph Staten. The tidbit in question:

In an overwhelming flood of support, well over a thousand users have signed the just opened Halo Petition in support of Mac and PC versions of the game. The number is growing steadily, too--people are very passionate about this issue, considering how hard it is to motivate people to click a link and in a little form.

Some of you may have noted some intermittent server outages late last night. Well, it appears that the HaloBungie.Com Spoof! site was an even bigger success than we might have expected and some of our hosts have had to temporarily pull the Dukes of Halo movie (found on the movies page of the spoof site) until things can become a little more normalized.

Kudos to Jonny Rotten, who pointed out a new Halo screenshot at Blue's News, which makes for a nice distraction from the doom and gloom around here. While the depicted marine and sniper rifle are very impressive, they take a back seat before half of the image is even loaded: trees. Gorgeous, good looking trees at that.
