Matt Soell has posted at HBO informing fans that there will not be a HALO update this week:
Most of the team is not here today. We'll be doing some final testing (using DVDs on commercial hardware) next week - assuming that goes well, Halo will GM then.In the meantime, there is a launch party to plan, and cool new web stuff to test, and content to write. Those of us on the Online Team won't stop to catch our breath until after the Halo Launch Party at the very earliest.
27 MB of new zip-archived HALO screenshots are available at the XBox Japan site. Geez... this should certainly satisfy anyone craving new HALO material to drool at. Thanks, HBO.

Since Amazon.com put up their page for pre-ordering Halo-- including box art-- some fans have been wondering about that big M seen there, because it looked disturbingly like an ESRB rating.
