Only a few weeks after the announcement, already the clamor is beginning for more information on Halo 2.

And if that wasn't enough, it looks like the Halo Updates may make a return soon...

Seriously, though, this story by Matt in the HBO forum is definitely worth the read, I almost died laughing.
As if anyone thought otherwise, Xbox Canada's marketing manager Ryan Mugford has revealed an an interview with Game Nation that Halo will not be coming to the GameBoy Advance:
Mugford (still laughing) - Yeah, well unless you're getting different information than me, Halo is not coming out for the Game Boy Advance.Abel - No, I know, I was teasing you.
Again, nope.

There was a rather ugly little row on the HBO forum prompted by some trash-talking against Halo and in favor of the newly released Timesplitters 2 for the Xbox. However, one good thing did come out of it: Scalrag posted a rather even-handed comparison of the two games, and what he likes/dislikes about each:

Emildux posted a writeup of the recently completed Running Riot Invitational Halo tournament in the Great Lakes region. A team called The Specialists walked off with the $1,000 first prize. Thanks again Louis Wu.
MacWorld UK has an interview with Peter Tamte from Destineer Studios up that's dated October 23, but nearly all the information in it is old.
They quote Tamte from as saying Westlake will start in September to work on porting Halo to the Mac. And they also mention Kevin Browne of the Mac Business Unit of Microsoft complaining about OS X sales. (Browne left the MacBU recently.)
Matt Soell has posted an article at Bungie.net about the Halo Winter Season tournament being run by a collection of players who felt that there was a wider audience for Halo tourneys than the one served by the recent Halo National Championships.
Michigan State University, Microsoft, and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) are sponsoring a 3x3 Halo tournament at 6 PM Eastern time on November 7th. Cost is $5 per person.
