Blue, of the staple news site Blue's News, has posted his E3 Best of the Show awards, choosing Halo as the pick of the litter. Citing the graphics and team based play, he seems a wee bit more forgiving about everyone else's favorite bitch, no gameplay! Apparently a close run with Black and White, too... stop by and find out why Halo took the prize in the end.
Kudos to Bullseye, who pointed out a new Oni preview courtesy of Gamespot. The preview is an interesting read, though nothing screamed new info at me, but the set of screenshots with it are new indeed.
As for the trailer offered along with it, I don't think it's a new one, but I lack the modem to be sure--fortunately, we should know soon thanks to a couple of LPB's on RHL. Either way, definitely one to take a look at.

A hearty handshake to Battleground: Halo, who noted that Doug Zartman sent an email concerning the M$ buyout rumor to PlanetXbox. Responding to their asking Bungie for comment, Doug said:

Support for semitransparent liquid surfaces in OpenGL rendering. One can switch this on in the OpenGL-options dialog box.

Haloplayers has been in communication with PC Gamer UK and has learned that the E3 Halo trailer will be released in the PCGUK issue which goes on sale July 31st. Although new video footage was originally promised for the August issue, Louis Wu of halo.bungie.org points out that an on-shelves date of July 31st makes it more likely to be the September issue.
