Halocenter, which last posted news at the end of August that Perfect Cowboy on the TeamXbox forums was not one and the same with Flawless Cowboy (aka Case) has now relaunched:
Don't know how we missed this one, but the second part of the Green Berets walkthrough is now available, according to Talonsoft's webmaster. The walkthrough covers levels 6-10 at the Timid difficulty level. Green Berets is a Myth 2 engine game.
The sites for Myth World Cup 2001 and Limbs, Heads and Smoking Craters have both posted updates about the status of prizes for their respective winners.

Two news items this morning from HBO focus on Eric Nylund's Halo prequel novel, The Fall of Reach . First, there's an eBook version from which Random House has posted an excerpt. The eBook version goes for $6.99.
Louis Wu posted a link to a CNN story over at HBO entitled Which new game console should you buy? Nine editors from GamePro.com give advice and make predictions about the Xbox and the GameCube, as well as the reigning king, the PlayStation 2.

You can get a $10 rebate for Myth III if you bought it at Electronics Boutique and still have your sales receipt if you simply print the rebate coupon and fill it out. The rebate will not be valid for purchases after December 30, 2001.

As expected, IGN has made the entire text of Part One of their Halo Multiplayer Guide available to readers other than their IGNInsider subscribers. In addition to the text that appeared, and was later edited out, of the post at the HBO forum, the article includes a screenshot of each level.
Super Man MoR did a little testing and found that you can use your Myth II custom formations by simply copying them into the Myth III local folder. This is a fine alternative to waiting for Vengeance.
Matt Soell over at bungie.net has answered a few questions they have been receiving about the upcoming Halo launch party. You had better head over and read the details if you plan on attending because Bungie needs to know who is going as soon as possible so that they can prepare for the event.
