I've transcribed the sheet music for 'Enough Dead Heroes' for a string orchestra, and am well on my way to finishing the halo theme. if anyone wants copies, just post on the blog, or contact me at the personal messaging thing (never used it, so it might be best to just post ur e-mail adress or somewhere where i can send u jpegs of the music) GO HALO!!!!!!!!!!

The syste is trying to translate URLs including email addresses into links if you just leave them alone; it seems to work for web pages but not email addresses.

I'm going to work on it.

Might be easier at least for now to suggest this:

I play the E flat alto sax... any way you could transcribe to that?

Umm... I'm not very farmiliar with band insturments, so I really have little idea what a e flat alto sax is. I am assuming that it plays in e flat, but if that isnt the case let me know. since the piece has 5 parts, i could transpose them for 5 e flat alto saxes, but I'm not sure exactly what you want. I would also need to know what range you can play in, so that I dont put an impossible note in.

an Eb alto sax does play in the key of Eb, and its range goes from a b below the staff to a high d above the staff, ne other questions, just e-mail me, or i could transpose it for u

WOW a copy of the Halo 2 score would be awesome! My school orchestra is looking for suggestions for our next piece with the band. A copy of a full orchestra score would be terrific. I definently believe the Halo theme will stun the audience.

I am sorry to say that I have not even attemptedd to transcribe the Halo 2 score (I'm assuming from the E3 vid) though yes, it would be awesome. I am very close to being done with the halo theme (the one that plays after the gregorian chant on the startup screen. Usually.) but neither that or "Enough Dead Heroes" have band parts unless Pelican Pilot works on it. I'll e-mail the "enogh dead heroes" mucic anyway.

has it ever occured ne1 to actually listen to the music to halo?
if u have, its bascially all strings and percussion, with vocal from a choir (the only exception i have heard is 1 long note from a trumpet)
ive agreed to transpose the music for an Eb Alto Saxophone, mostly cuz i play it, and i probably could transpose the music for other instruments, but it will take time!
by the way, i need a recording of the piece i was given, "enough dead heros" in order to transpose it, so i can accuratly change the notes

i have seen a lot of requests of different wind instruments, but i really cant to anything without the recording of the piece (i need at least an isolated part; no other sounds) i have the string parts u gave me, and i have the key signitures for each, but i need to hear it to transpose it.

I have noticed that in the the 2 days i was not returning to my blog, quite a few people have asked for sheet music that simply does not exist. From Halo 2 to Bb clarinet or piano or whatever, as I have said to many of you in e-mails, I simply do not have the time at the moment to do a whole lot of transcribing. Pelican, don't feel obligated to transcribe anything. If you do, however, and get the Halo soundtrack, play it in Windows media palyer and adjust the "graphic equalizer" to bring out certain parts. though it is many times a far cry from an isolated solo insturment, it does help a little.

i also want to point ot that at least from where i live, the halo soundtrack is due to come out until june. so, dont expect so many parts, ill do what i can, but i dont wanna butcher such a great piece by having a trombone play the violin part
im sure u all will understand
