The bungie.net server for Myth: TFL has acted awful cruddy as of late and has even been offline since yesterday. If you're one of those TFL die-hards, you may be worrying about it being discontinued, but the bungie.net website has updated with news that should give you something to cheer for:
The highly anticipated Seventh God scenario in development for Myth II has had an update to its web site and now shows 8 new development shots. In addition to this, Creation has announced its affiliation with the Glue The Moose group, who composed the music in the Myth II expansion, Chimera.
Maestro contacted me and asked me to help get the word out. He wants to host Myth material and he needs someone with the talent to build and maintain the site.
mythwolfage.com tracked down Andrew Meggs' homepage, antennahead.com, and noted that he'd commented on Myth III's progress on the 18th and 31st of March. Among other things:
The game has progressed from a new set of maps for Myth 2, some models and animations in 3DS, and disconnected code to Myth 3 with some rough spots and missing pieces.
The Wight model is something truly unique.
In an effort to prove that it is not vaporware, Vista has posted a demo of Jinn at The Mill. It was posted on April 1, although the reviews and description suggest that it is indeed the real thing. 33 ratings and it's got a 4.45 average, so it must be pretty good!
Santa's Head asked on the Futuremyth forum whether fans would like to see a webcam in the Wolf Age development office, along the same lines as Bungie's Soffish cam. Read about what you'd be likely to see, then reply with your opinion, and you will have luck in all your endeavours.
And now, the winner of this season's Most Casual Press Release Award:
Ho news people,Yeah yeah, I know, it's been a while since anyone has seen or heard anything of MaraMyth, but we (me really, ; ) decided it was about time the public got to play with it. So uhm, I found it on my hard drive, stuffed it up, and will be uploading it to RampancyHL and the Mill as soon as I can.
