The Vista Cartel have updated their website with information about Jinn, the highly-anticipated total conversion for Myth II. They're currently working on multiplayer support and are adding more crates. There can NEVER be enough crates.
Jinn was originally promised to be released before Oni, but that didn't happen. The group now promises to release Jinn before Teamfortress 2 .
The Myth III team's Andrew Meggs responded to a question on how many units can be on screen at once:
As many as you can fit. :)A single ghol standing in an otherwise empty field is 500 polygons. As you add more, the number of polygons per ghol decreases according to a formula that takes into account the number of ghols, the screen area each ghol takes up, and the performance of your system.

The Myth III team's fisj posted at Vista's Myth Editing Forum, in response to a question on how current Myth mapmakers should prepare for Wolf Age editing. His response is worth reading by Myth players in general, as it throws a bit more light on the capabilities of the Myth III engine.
