Take Two has sent this press release announcing the gold status of Myth II: Green Berets. The title will begin shipping by the end of this month. The following is the unedited press release:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASETake-Two Interactive Software, Inc. announces Green Beretstm (Powered by Myth IItm) has gone Gold.
Check out MWA, which has been updated with some bits about Myth III and MacWorld. In one forum post, Andrew Meggs said this:
In accordance with the MacWorld Expo beginning, MacSoft has put up a website for Myth III. It's not very extensive and it doesn't offer any new information, as it is probably available for Expo visitors to find more information on the game. Check it out. Thanks, Monte.
Kudos to MWA for pointing out that the official Myth III website has launched at myth3.godgames.com. Nothing new can be found yet, but it is a reliable source for Myth III information.
Just noticed that The Seventh God website has been given a facelift and has some added content. New screenshots on the front page display custom trees, units, and more. Scroll down and you will find some recent project updates, too, including a link to download a new audio track composed for the conversion by Glue The Moose.
The Apple Games Trailers site has updated with the addition of the old Myth III trailer. The cool thing about this is that they have setup a nifty layout for the Myth III site. It displays a MacSoft logo, which further confirms their publishing of Myth III for the Mac OS.
The Myth II: Green Berets site has been updated today with the following information:
Green Berets will ship with a COMPLETE MAP EDITOR. Packed with everything you need to create your own levels, units, objects, multiplayer maps and more!
Make of that what you will, although it will probably just be a beefed up Fear and Loathing.
