Hamish of Marathon's Story sent in a note regarding some new inteview movies:

I have just uploaded two new Macworld movies to the Marathon Central ftp site courtesy of Miguel Chavez.

One is a 60+MB high quality version of Miguel's interview with Jason Jones. It's EXACTLY the same as the smaller 20MB movie but the picture and sound quality is better.

And in addition there is a small (<1MB) movie of Jason Jones playing Marathon. Yeah it's short but cool.

game:

Many thanks to Butcher (and Freewill too!) for transcribing Freewill's interview of Jason Jones into the smallest file yet-a text file. Dashing off to work now, but I'll clean it up and make it easier to read when I return tonight. In the meantime, enjoy the many wonders of .txt files!

game:

For those of you daunted by the 20 meg download, halo.bungie.org has posted an audio only version of Freewill's interview with Jason Jones.

game:

While not a new screenshot, Bungie has updated their Halo page's PR section to include a comprehensive list of press reactions (aka. articles). While most are pretty much cut and pastes of the official PR, it pays to be well read.

game:

Outpourings of gratitude to Bullseye, for creating a considerably improved version of the Gamespot MWNY Demo movie, and Case for grabbing and uploading it to our server (doing in minutes what would have taken me days).

This improved video not only looks better, but has had the cruddy soundtrack overwritten with a fresh version taken from the Demo MP3. It's a hefty download, but worth it if you're showing off or looking for the first time.

game:

Bungie has swapped out the old alien on their Halo page with a new, rendered version. While it looks very much like the aliens in the Demo, it's still very worth checking out.

And I may be on crack, but I thought I saw a new quote in there... then again, I might not have seen them all on the first go.

game:

Many thanks to Freewill, who points out Marathon's Story's exclusive interview (that he conducted) with Jason Jones at MWNY.

At 20 megs, this interview is a bit too large for yours truly to grab until later tonight, but it promises to contain some good stuff. Kudos to the first person to supply a text transcript! ;)

game:

In the absence of many interesting topics (and the lack of people clicking the buttons), I've swapped out the polling section at the bottom of the news for a brief list of links for keeping up on your Halo things around the web. Pretty much self explanatory... and a tad more useful, too.

game:

After a grueling brainstorm and frenzy of typing, I've gotten our FAQ back up and even up to date again. New questions will be added as they appear, and information will be kept up to date as it changes. Enjoy, and send in your questions if you have them (or if you think someone else might).

game:

Having lost (okay, misplaced... grumble) my old list of questions, I'm going through our FAQ and revising it with the newest information available on Halo. Thus far, I have about half a dozen questions (and substantially fewer answers, but I'm working on it)...

Which is where you come in--if you have a question, answered or not, that you think should be on the FAQ, please email me or reply to the forum post below. The more questions, the better, and more useful the FAQ.
