Vector40 recently traveled to San Jose for a videogame tournament to be played on an IMAX dome (well, at least the finals) and Halo was one of the included games. While our good friend didn't make it into the finals, he did have quite a dramatic run, and it makes a great read. His description of the final match is particularly entertaining:
Louis Wu at HBO gave us the heads-up that Yeroen at Bungie.net has posted the schedule for the Halo National Championship regionals. It's got the name, address, and phone number of each location hosting a regional along with the start time.
Zandervix at MBO put up an item on Myth Done Quick, a contest to see who can complete Myth levels the fastest in coop mode, Legendary difficulty, with no vets. Latest result is Dark One beating Gate of Storms in six minutes and seventeen seconds.

According to a news item at Bungie.net, the page that EB was hosting for the Halo National Tournament rules has disappeared inexplicably . There is a complete copy of the HNC rules online at iGames.

From Anima at MythVillage comes word that Marine Recon will be hosting a 2002 Spring Offensive tournament on Sunday, June 2nd from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST. Team registrations will be taken until 1 p.m. EST on Thursday, May 30.
The game, of course, is WWII:Recon.
