I can't remember if it was Halo or Half-Life the video was made for, but let me give you a brief description to compare with your reply.
It was created as a result of a contest.
It was more of a series than a single video.
It was humorous and a bit tongue-in-cheek, many of the comments and situations were an aside to Half-life/Halo players/fans.
One situation that comes to mind from an episode in the series is when a "new guy" joined the "Red Team" and the new guy was arguing with one of the others about the color of his armor.
Another situation was when one of the teams was attacking the other but the only guy available to drive the tank was not "trained" on the tank so he had to follow instructions much like a gamer would when playing a new game. He spoke back to the automated female voice-over and everything.
The more I describe this, the more I want to say it was a spoof on Half-Life, not Halo, but I hope someone recognizes the reference anyhow seeing as this is a gamer's forum.
Please provide a link to the site if you recognize it.
Thank you.

Red vs Blue
That is the popular webseries "Red vs Blue".
You can find them at http://www.redvsblue.com
It was made in the Halo engine, and new seasons are now being made with Halo 2.
