When I was reading the book Halo: Fall of Reach it tells that there is more then one spartan and it told MC's life and subortinates.Also told how he got on the Pillar of Autumn in the first place. The game trailer for Halo Wars shows master chief leading his subortinates. After very little research I find out that they use old guns and viecles. So I think the plot might be the same thing in both the game and the book.

Halo Wars doesn't necessarily feature the Chief. The events there take place decades before Halo 1 and the Fall of Reach. What goes on in Halo Wars will probably be more relevant to the events of the upcoming novel, Contact Harvest, by Joe Staten.

your correct, contact harvest has more to do with Halo wars than fall of reach does. still it would be cooler if they used both ideas, placing the idea's of contact harvest and Fall of reach with some elements of First strike to make a really awsome Halo wars

what i heard is that the game's storyline will start when the humans first contact the covanent, and goes all the way to the fall of Reach...
but i might be wrong on the Reach part

o well when the game comes out i'm gonna get it

Well the Spartan Armor wasn't created until after the human campaign for harvest and in the Halo Wars trailer it clearly shows a team of spartans in the MJOLNIR armor so at least some of the game has to take place after the events of Contact Harvest

Just a note: the Halo Wars devs have stated publicly that the game takes place in 2531. I don't have CH yet so I can't say when it takes place.
