I really got tired of playing as the arbiter in halo 2 I mean yeah I was intrested in the story but it took away from the human side of the story I think instaid of being the arbiter you should have benn able to be some of the spartan IIIs on Onyx beacause that could have opened the door to another series one not based on Master Chief but on the next generation. By the way the Spartan IIIs are in the book ghosts of Onyx those of you who dont know.

Myself, I appreciated the Arbiter's story. I don't know if they'll continue with it. But I think SIIIs are out-- Bungie isn't going to make reading the books a prerequisite for understanding the Halo 3 story, and there's too much material there to cover
Rampant for over se7en years.

arbiter
In reply to: NOthank you if they wanted to have the player play as the Arbiter they should have made it where they either came with two versions of the game or let you choose what story you wanted to play on second thought two versions of the game wouldn't be good for live.

i, for one, actually liked the arbiter as a character, despite the flood-infested levels.
oh and, by the way, considering the (more-or-less) cliffhanger ending of onyx, that may be what Mr. Peter Jackson is going to be basing his future series of Halo-Style video games on.
just a thought
