I finally have a new computer. This means that all the files that I previously had are gone, so I no longer have any of the sheet music. Please stop sending me messages saying that you would like the music. I am sorry for the trouble.

Transcription of part of e3 07 halo 3 trailer

I have worked very hard on this part since the day the trailer came out. It has taken me many hours of free time but this is as far as I have come. Dont fake it. I know you want it for your orcestra. Sadly this is as far as i can go. I have in effect given up trying to transcribe this peice. I will be honest, although I have worked hard I have hit a road block. The part I have ended at is the hardest part of the peice to transcribe and i am very very lazy. If you do not have up to this part by now then here you go. all I ask is that you use my name in the transcribe area along with marty o donnel or else that would be against the law.
I hope you are able to complete my peice before semester 2. My small band is trying to play it for our school talent show. ( An ocestral / piano talent scout is going to be there so. Yeah i kinda need it.)
I have not quite figured out how to post files so if you want it either tell me how or (much more highly suggested) email me at itlnboy@hotmail.com. Please do not email me if your not serious. I have seen your other work and im impressed I hope you read this.

Just go to "create content" in the left hand menu, choose "blog" and Post an blog entry with the title and description of your transcription. You'll also see an option there for attaching a file from your computer; use that to attach an archive containing your transcriptions (.zip probably best).

anyone have any idea where i can get the sheet music for Unyielding? I'm running an ensemble at my school, and I need the piano, 1st Violin, 2nd Violin, viola, and cello parts.

Probably not until the first volume of the soundtrack is released. I think it'd be pretty tough for someone to transcribe directly from the game.

My 11year Old Daughter plays the violin and loves Halo. We have beat all 3 together. I'll be on the look-out for this transcript... thanks a bunch!

how about the opening sequence to "High Charity", its also played at the end of "Black Tower" in Halo 3, when high charity comes crashing in.

I've put up a tutorial on how to add sheet music entries to the database. It will appear on the top of all sheet music listings pages, just like the downloading tutorial.

i'm sorry i really don't want to sound greedy but this is the only place i've been able to find halo music for piano... the halo 3 soundtrack couple months now i think and since i suck at writing music down by ear, i was wondering when theres gonna be any halo 3 sheet music for piano... the only new thing i've seen in the past few months is a song called unforgotten and it doesn't even say if its from halo 3... there should be separate pages for songs from halo 1,2, and 3 or its really confusing as to where the song even comes from. thanks!

That last note is an excellent point. The sheet music section is one of the older popular spots on the site, and was made before some of the others, like the gamertag database, the movies database, and the forgemap database. As such, it was just a simple page with daughter pages for each entry-- no searching or sorting capabilities.
I've revamped that now. You can sort the new sheet music page by date, title or author, and you can filter it by one or more games. Should be much easier to see what is what now. Some entries are still hard to categorize since many pieces of music occur in more than one game, though. For instance, versions of "Pale Horse" appear in H1 and H3, and the main theme appears in all three games in one form, and "Siege of Madrigal" appears... well, just about everywhere.

wow thanks for reorganizing the sheeet music section! - i didn't think that little note would affect anything but obviously you people pay attention to what people write and want!
