As one might expect, it appears we can make several characters and choose from among them. While it was also possible to have multiple player profiles in Halo, there was really very little reason to do so, except for the creation of multiple campaign save files in Halo 2 to make skull activation easier. Since any player profile could access any completed campaign level and play it at any difficulty, and all player characters had identical characteristics, different only by weapons and equipment selected in-game, the only way in which two player profiles would differ would be their cosmetic armor customizations.

With different playable classes and perhaps unique equipment, players may be able to get additional replay value as well as vary their play experience by shepherding a stable of different player characters through Destiny.

Halcylon's light armor and hooded helmet would seem to indicate that this player is Hunter class; to the immediate left may be a Warlock, while the more heavily armored figure at the bottom left may be a Titan.
