My bad, missed the link Xzzy posted in that thread to a second new screenshot, this one featuring a pair of marines, their BFT, and some all round great detail. Already some good discussion... wouldn't it be a hoot if that marine really was holding a crowbar?

As posted at Halo.Bungie.Org, Bungie.Org slapped up some fan-acquired shots of Bungie's booth at MWSF. Kudos go out to Clem Freeman and Claude Errera on this one.Also- be aware that the bTV broadcast has been delayed until 10:30am - just a few minutes from now. You'd better be there! ;-)
Kudos to Xzzy, who managed to corner Matt Soell for a minute or two and extract just a little bit of information for the rest of us. Those of you who don't visit the forums as frequently will probably get a kick out of this.
Yesterday's bTV broadcast was a little difficult to make out for many of use who viewed it live, and Bungie apologizes that the archived copy won't be available until a later date. However, Bungie did promise higher-bandwidth streaming from now on for those of us who have something better than 56K dialup connections.
The Gamelinks Network posted a new Halo preview at their site. There are one or two minor inaccuracies but it is a good article for anyone who has been on a desert island for the last six months. (Yes, there are people in the world who haven't yet heard of Halo - spread the word! ;-)They mention the still-uncertain possibility for voice-communication, and that indigenous life may play an important role in some parts of the game.
An auspicous beginning, eh? Well, I've already managed to mangle my first day on the job. Bear with me until I gain some familiarity with Ferr's special tools, okay guys? At least he won't (hopefully) see this for a few days. ;-)
I suppose I can't look any more foolish for saying that I consider it an honor to collaborate with Ferrex, and to be even more empowered (heh) to serve the Bungie fan community that I've come to enjoy so much. Let me know where I can improve things, and toss us those tidbits that other devoted Bungiefen should be aware of. TTFN!
