I heard rumors that halo 3 would suposedly come out february 9th. Ive beaten the game at legandary and at super-legandary ( with the mythic skull ) and yes it does say februrary 9th but thats all. people are saying IMPOSSIBLE THEY WONT HAVE TIME TO DO IT IN 3 MONTHS NO WAY!! but suposedly halo 2 was a too big so they made 2 parts halo 2 and halo 3 and that would be why the ending sucks so much. and for the ones who thinks 3 months isnt enough well just think this way ---> what if its already done but they wanna make some profit and wait a couple of months for halo 2 to sell then make halo 3 come out. in buisness its better to let 1 year before making a sequel to a game because it makes more money that way. i dont no what is gonna happen february 9th but something big is gonna obviously happen in bungie maybe not this year tho it might another and halo 3 might vbe called halo 2.5 ( i think there was a 2.5 for cpus.

Ive heard alot of comotion from microsoft/bungie and that it most likely wont come out till about 2006 when xbox2 is suppose to come out and ive seen some pretty sweet weaponery and screen shots so I'm damn sure there will be one.It takes place basically on earth ;) and the assult riffle has grenade luancher on the bottom w/lasers and crap.Also the grenade luancher can hold like 8 rounds semi-auto.The suits are weird but there just protos.later~

I agree with Rampant AI. After all, look at how Bungie kept changing the date for Halo 2 (no offense Bungie!) and how they changed the entire game from the E3 demo. I hope the Godly people at the hands of Jason Jones know what they're doing. BTW, Jason, thanx for making 1 kick ass game!

Besides, look at the ending of Halo 2! MC's stuck on a Forerunner ship with Truth, and it's headed straight for Earth. He DID NOT kill him yet so I think the final boss in the supposed Halo 3 is going to be The Prophet of Truth. Anyway... I think the Arbiter is going to form a pact with the humans, as well as the other covies who were betrayed... BTW, I heard Jason said he's FINALLY going to reveal what MC looks like! I'm going to die of happiness to see a 41 year old man show his face at the end of the game!

if there isn' a halo 3 i'd be very pissed, the ending at the end of halo 2 leaves too many unanswerd questions, like; what is the "ARK"? or who are the "FORERUNNERS", and also is the earth going to be screwed if TRUTH leads the covenant fleet to earth? now u see why there needs to be a halo 3.
