In part due to information collected during the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta, players can expect the release version of Halo 3's multiplayer game to be a better experience than Halo 2, says Tyson "Ferrex" Green, Bungie's multiplayer design lead. Toronto-based radio station 680 News has a text article on their website (thanks Louis Wu for the heads-up) with Green about the upcoming game.
Random fact from the article: Ferrex has now spent seven years at Bungie.

Aww.
I remember playing Myth 1 and 2 with Ferrex, and the various sites he ran. Shit that was a long time ago!
...I just checked Myth 1's release date... it'll be ten years old this November. :o

Bungie Must Hate Halo 2

I think what it means...
In reply to: Bungie Must Hate Halo 2
Man, it seems like there's always someone from Bungie lamenting about all of the things Halo 2 did wrong. I don't really disagre with them, but it really does add credence to all of the complaints that fans made about Halo 2.
Speaking of. I just recently played some Halo 1 multiplayer, and it's amazing how much fun that game is. As many things that Halo 2 and 3 have improved upon (and there are MANY things), Halo 1 is still such a more fun game to play. It just creates so many more of those amazing or hilarious moments.
...is that as hard as the fans are on Halo 2, the creators can be, at times, just as hard or harder. I think the difference is, they're expected to stand by their product, even if they would rather have worked on it longer or done things differently.
Of course, given a chance to make another product, Halo 3, and address some of the issues, frees them from that obligation. So I think now that many of them feel confident that Halo 3 addresses some of the issues that Bungie and Bungie fans had with Halo 2, that we'll hear a lot of comparisons along those lines.
