A couple of items to report to you. FoxHound was able to locate an English-language webpage for the Tokyo Game Show, but it hasn't been terribly informative and it appears that they're having someone whose second language is English translate, which tends to be the Japanese way.
On the darker side of things, Bloomberg reports having obtained a controversial and confidential Microsoft document from the TGS. The alleged document outlines Microsoft's online strategy for the Xbox, reporting that they may not make a serious effort to push multiplayer capability until the second year. It is not yet certain whether the document applies to only the Japanese or Asian market, or if this represents Microsoft's global strategy. Char brought up the item in our forum. FGN Online apparently may have obtained a copy of this document as well, but I'm having difficulty reaching their webpage for some reason.
On a lighter note, Xbox IGN states that we may be seeing Sega titles on the Xbox. Kudos to No7orious for bringing this up in the forum first. Kalis makes the observation that Sega's previous experience with Windows CE on the DreamCast may make this a particularly delicious partnership for the Xbox.
