Intelligamer has posted their E3 wrapup, and while it doesn't mention Halo by name or focus particularly on the Xbox, it does have a couple of items of note.
In the last page of their report, they give awards for best booth and best game at the show. As for the first:
Microsoft has the money to do things right and their gargantuan booth was both attractive and functional and left enough room to see everything you wanted to even with a horde of people around.
As for the best game... well, Halo didn't win-- or even get a mention. But they did say that:
To be honest it was a poor year for PC games overall... a lot of companies are clearly moving effort to the console systems where they make more money.
For the record, Bioware's upcoming Neverwinter Nights took the title. However, for the naysayers this does lend weight to the idea that Bungie's shift to console development might not be so ill-considered.
