Chief Xbox officer Robbie Bach has told PlanetXbox that his console is the one worth waiting for.
He better hope he's right.
As posted by Rauko in our forum, the release of Microsoft's console is being delayed a week. The new release date is November 15, 2001.
Manufacturing of the box has begun in Guadalajara, Mexico, and the company has stated they will ship somewhere between 1 and 1.5 million consoles by the holiday season, although they won't say how many will be available on launch day.
The Xbox is competing against Sony's PlayStation 2, which has been available since last year, and Nintendo's upcoming Gamecube, which also launches in America on the 15th. Planetgamecube.com is already crowing about the Xbox delay.
