For some of you, the wait is over. For others, it has just begun, for 166megs of MPEG Halo goodness has been posted online. Battleground: Halo has posted the E3 demonstration movie, apparently taken from the PC Gamer August 2000 CD, and had this to say about it in a PR:

The movie it self is just under 10 minutes of action packed footage showcasing some of the greatest scenes we've seen of Halo thus far, however this boat load of time comes with a hefty size! It weighs in at over 166 MB so be prepared for a few days of downloading if you're not on broadband. The resolution is phenomenal though, and well worth the download!

Indeed. No word as to whether or not PC Gamer has authorized this or not, but you know how these things go. If you download the movie, do the Right Thing and buy the magazine, or your eternal soul will BURN IN HECK! FOREVER! BURN! AAIIIIEE--
