A story at Maccentral.com reminded us about the presence of a Halo trailer at Apple's web site. But before you get your hopes up, though, it's the old MWNY trailer from 1999 and not the new E3 trailer, which should be available for download as well as on a CD from a major gaming magazine later this summer.

In the QuickTime Showcase area where Apple hosts movie trailers, there is now a Game Previews area featuring Halo, Myst III: Exile, The Sims and 4x4 Evolution. If there is still someone who hasn't seen this movie, it goes without saying that you should first flagellate yourself with a wet noodle, and then go take a look. The trailer comes in three sizes and QuickTime 4 is required. For the movie, that is, not for the flagellation.

WARNING! This movie is not for the faint of heart, however, as it features the explosive double whammy of Steve Jobs' Reality Distortion Field as well as the Mind Control Ray of Bungie's Jason Jones.
