Kudos to Ironfist for pointing out in our forum that Salon.Com has an article that bemoans the lack of genuine innovation or a compelling narrative in so many of the games shown at E3. Of course they'd be both blind and deaf to have not known about Halo's big showing at E3, but their comments seemed a bit, well... off. Take a look:
Even Bungie Software's Halo, perhaps the most visually magnificent game on display, a combination of first-person combat and real-time strategy, set on a staggeringly vivid landscape, didn't promise much greater narrative depth.
Wanna set 'em straight? Don't make us all look bad by flaming them (and making certain everyone thinks we're as ignorant as they are), but do give them the facts. Also make certain to read the full article before you send them anything - You might actually get a laugh at one or two of the other statements made by Wagner Au. You can write a Letter to the Editor or simply E-mail them.
