As pointed out at halo.bungie.org, Playstation 2 Central has posted a preview of Halo for the PS2. Unfortunately, there is (all together now!) no new information given, and there are actually a few errors. Not to rile you folks up, but I thought this one was pretty glaring:

The story line however is not much different than any other, a huge ship carrying 2000 humans crashes on an alien planet which is a gigantic, spinning ring in space that creates its own gravity. Of course, the local alien population do not like these strange human characters and set out to annihilate them. So what else is new eh? ;)

Ah well, not everyone has seen Cortana Letters. And to correct the other error that I noticed, you shouldn't expect much more PS2 information (much less screenshots) for quite a while. Currently, it is believed that Halo will be ported for the PS2 after the Mac and PC versions are finished, not simultaneously. All speculation, of course.
