What a lousy time to get axed. The three days during which the Core was down have proven to be the busiest three in since Halo's announcement, with new information and materials flooding in. But I'm not bitter... no, not me. KILL! KILL THEM ALL!!
Shamelessly snatching news from here and there around the web, here's a roundup of the events, simply so that the archive won't be lacking:
- Bungie unveiled a revamped Halo site, chock full of new screens and movies
- An updated trailer was finally made public, and can now be obtained in astonishing quality at Bungie's site, so no more bootlegs for us!
- Gamespot UK posted an excellent preview, with plenty of new screenshots (which have among the worst gamma I have ever seen... better versions are at Bungie's site now)
- Next-Generation, as forecasted, published a Halo related article in their November print issue
- Halo made no appearance at the Apple Event, despite high hopes for another keynote demo
That about covers the major events, though I lack the sack to get every last item that made the news. What a bittersweet week...
