Thanks to Hamish and Freewill, who were both quick to point out that Quicktime 4 has no problems playing an AVI file. That being the case, neither did I a few minutes ago.
My take on it? It's nice to have a higher resolution film to show off, not to mention a clean and detailed one. That said, there's very little new material in the film. The most obvious change is that the marines are firing back, and anyone who has watched the MWNY movie to death (guilty) will notice a few other minor changes. In how the marines behave.
If you're one of those people with a killer connection, take a look. If not, you might want to go out and get the CGW November issue and the CD. And if neither, then you're only missing an incremental improvement on what we've seen before. Nothing groundbreaking, at least.
