The July 2K issue of PC Gamer magazine lists the results of a poll from last month's magazine, and Halo is mentioned among the bunch:

Diablo II - 31%
Daikatana - 23%
Duke Nukem Forever - 13%
Black & White - 7%
Tribes 2 - 5%
Halo - 4%
Team Fortress 2 - 4%
WarCraft III: 4%
Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption - 4%
Baldur's Gate 2 - 3%
Deus Ex - 2%

Halo continues to be relatively fresh and interesting to many gamers, as you can see here. It's in a four-point tie with TF2, WC3 and VMR. I don't think it's a result of Bungie not releasing enough information or hyping Halo enough, because 3D Realms has been just as (if not more) secretive about Duke Nukem Forever. With all of the new projects in development that are measuring themselves against Halo, we might expect for these figures to change in the future. That's okay, because I'd rather that Halo stimulate any response other than apathy. ;-)
