Kudos to mad.max, who told us he captured a Lynx/Phoenix commercial in the UK. Hamish Sinclair's Marathon's Story site is hosting the .MOV file and showing some suspicious similarities at its March news page. It's important to note that in our interview with Nathan last September, Narcogen and I asked him about the Halo logo:

HN - And then a small question, about the Halo logo itself-- was that completely rendered from scratch, or was it based on an existing font? As you can imagine, a lot of sites will be interested in creating some derivative art-- as some already have-- and would be hungry for a bit of knowledge on how to stay consistent with Halo's УlookФ.NB - It's a unique design, not based on an existing font.

Is it coincidental? For it to even be that, the logos would have to be created at around the same time... Hrmmmm ;-)
