That is a great idea, about them bein repair drones, an ur prolly right. An naughty, Gs is strong, Ive shot at him wif everything I can find, but he doesnt die, an hes damn fast 2.

ok, if you watch and wait till the very end of the credits on hal you will see that the monitor(a.k.a 343 guilty spark) did survive becouse he flies past the screen at the very end of the credit list. that little blue hovoring double crossing bastard!

If u didnt mean strong defense wise, what r u talkin about, strong offense wise?? He doesnt have any weapons, bsides the sentinels, but he only controls them, it would b like sayin whoever commands our army nowadays is a giant. And yes, killing him prolly would mess up the story line.

how far can the monitor travel?
Is he fast?

perhaps there is halo shuttle bus between all the instalations he could catch.

Did they survive and get off of Halo along with GS? They're so many of them in the Library and a few in the Two Betrayals and the Maw so some must have gotten off. Not that it matters. They're gonna get blasted be MC anyhow.

He is supposed to guard the flood without any fire power?
The sentinells are obviusly not made to fight. There are no way he could defend himself or the installation against Humans nor Covenants with his current arsenal!

I just thought of somethingi about the monitor. How does he take hold of the Index? It's clearly a solid object yet some how he can convert it into data and so can Cortana. I don't think it's possible to convert solid matter into data and then back into a solid.

I'm not gonna call anyone any noames, but I think I have your answer. The scientific answer is that , duh, it's set in 200 years. Nanotechnology is being thought through, and within a couple of decades, we will be able to decompose somthing into data and then rebuild it into its original solid shape. Either that or the creators at bungie fell asleep on that one.

The Fall of Reach, the prequal to Halo: Combat Evolved, is the greatest prequal of all time. It answers alot of questions about the Master Chief and is just a great book. I just finished it so, if you've got seven bucks, go out and buy it. Unless you're a pathetic loser who spends all his time playing video/PC games and arguing over who has the best data prossesor, the most disk space and better graphics processor. Oh crap. Thats me.

Did anyone ever notice that in the front of the Warthog there is a thick cable? It kinda sucked that they didnt use it in Halo because there would have been quite a few uses for it (EX : pulling vehicles like the tank with you if you need it later, so you dont have to go back and get it). I hope they do something with it in Halo 2.

We all kinda figured that, but it was too bad we couldn't use it. The MC could've used it to climb down mountains and stuff which would've been cool, but w/e. It would've been cool if you could use it as a weapon, too like drag a grunt along the ground (YES, I have a sick mind.) >:-D
