Not really... I could go through the entire military ranking system, but I won't. I understand what yer saying, but it's also a Navy ranking, not Marine. Heheh.

i really think marines should be able to switch weapons to their liking. i also agree with whoeva said u should be able to give marines commands like fall back. Peace out!

6. LARGE manportable machine guns, kinda like the ones they used in that movie aliens(remember them).

I dont kno what u call this but, Ill explain it, Character bonuses, u should b able to choose what u wanna b, like a sniper or a gunner or somethin, an when u choose gunner, an u get bhind a large machine gun u should get some kinda bonus, but u could still use the sniper rifle an all, but u get a bonus when u choose a weapon that ur character bonus specifies, get it.

You want to be able to select specific skills that your character would be good at. Personally I think that works best in squad based games. It would be difficult to do it in a game where you get one character who can pick one special skill.
AS for me I want deformable terain. They were orignally going to do this for Halo. With deformable terain when you through a grenade it explodes and cteates a crater. Not just a black spot. I know there would have to be limits on this, but I still think it would be cool to knock over trees and start avalanches...

What I meant by the special character skills was to b able to use em in multiplayer, sry for not mentioning that. And deformable terrain would b awesome. And one thing to add to mine.... I would like the Mc's vehicles like the warthog an the scorpion to blow up, have u noticed that just the covenant vehicles explode, the human ones just flip over... I think it would add more realism to the game.

It would be kinda cool to pick special skills your character would be good at in multiplayer.
I noticed that about tanks and jeeps not blowing up as well. I wish all vehicles would blow up even in multiplayer, and then respond bach where they started. The remains would have to disapear over time like bodies do to keep the map from filling up with them.

I think there should be marines in multplayer and maybe then you could tell them what to do or they just fight on their own and get in vehicle and stuff. but deifently not in 1 player campaingne mode.

PEOPLE READ THE MANUAL CHECK OUT HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE HELD IN THE WARTHOG AND THEN CALL THE HALO PEOPLE AND TELL THEM THAT YOU CAN (I HOPE) ADD!

It would also be cool if there were boats and jet skis to cruise over the water with. We also need more flying vehicles, like something from the humans. This time we are on Earth, our own turf, we need to show the Covenent all the weapons and vehicles we have to use. I've heared that in Halo 2, MC will be able to bust out combos with his melee attacks, wouldn't it be cool to have melee weapons to do it with. Like the plasma sword that the Elites have, or the sheilds the Jackles use, these are only some suggestions. For those of you who have played Time Splitters 2, I think that Halo 2 should have some of the interactive invironments that Time Splitters has, for example; like the turret guns with rockets, or my personal favorite, the computers inside a base that is hooked up to a drone gun on the outside of the base. Another thing from Time Splitters 2 that would be cool would be the multiplayer games, like Assualt, also the Challenges. Don't you think it would be cool if MC could pick up and use different visors, like x-ray vision, or heat vision. Last but not least, shouldn't the MC be more moveable, he should be able to crouch, but also crawl. This way you can be unseen by enemy forces, or sneek through air vents and things like that. Well, these are only a few of my hopes for Halo 2, I would love to hear more from all of you guys and gals.

Wishes and Facts about halo 2

1. You get 4 new versions of the Warthog, depending on the terrain.
2. You get an ATV and a Ghost-type hovercraft called the Shadow.
3. New MP levels, and upgraded Halo MP levels.
4. You play on Earth, and there is a propability of fighting the covenant on there own home planet.
5. You are able to shoot lights out, and use night vision to see everything.
6. You can flip tables, and duck and shoot around them.
7. You might be able to sprint full out, and go way faster than in the game, but you can't strafe or shoot while sprinting full out.
Soem wishes,
1. Carry more than two guns.
2. Get more human guns, and more vehicles.
3. Shoot two different guns at the same time(EXAMPLE: Shoot a shotgun, and an asssault rifle at the same time.)
4. Different punches, and kicks or hand-to-hand fighting moves.
Halo 2 was announced to come out in early 2004, but it's worth the wait because they are going to improve graphics, and add more things. Not to mention that it will be on LIVE, and you might be able to download more levels like Splinter Cell.

KEYES IS BACK!!!!!!!!
This idea just came to me literally now. Remember on "Keyes" when the captian gets infected and becomes part of that big blob thing on the bridge of the Covenant Cruiser? It seemed as though the Covenant Cruiser was now under the control of the Flood and it is possible, very possible, that the Flood managed to fight off the Covenant strike team, repaired the ship, and left Halo before the MC and Cortana destroyed it. Also, the Flood could have gained the knowledge within the captain's neuro-lace (Pillar of Autumn, Earth, MC, Cortana, etc.) and with that knowledge, the Flood could set a course for Earth or the Covenant capital world (there was a Covenant inside that blob thing too). So to get a basic overview, the Flood now have the knowledge of both human and Covenant technology/locations. The Flood, seeking to spread, can proceed to either Earth or any Covenant world and spread. What if the Flood decide to go to Earth since it's closer? They could mask a transmission to UNSC and say that Captain Keyes and other Marines managed to capture and take over the Covenant cruiser. They do still have the captain and could manipulate his voice, but the MC and Cortana could say that the captian was killed and the Flood are in control of the cruiser. The captain/Flood could say the MC went rampant and started to kill the Marines and abandoned the PoA crew and left via Longsword fighter. This would cause Admiral Cole to make a choice: Destroy the only Spartan II left and destroy the smartest AI contruct or kill an heoric captian and Marines. Intriguing, isn't it?

I don't think that will have co-ords to either planet. MAYBE to a covie planet, but not to earth. no human has knowledge of earth's co-cords, and when taking fire, it's wiped from the ships computer. only Cortana, out of all the humans in Halo, knows where earth is.

but now that you've said it, I don't want it to happen. I'm hoping Bungie can come up with something completely unexpected.
thoughts of keys surviving have crossed my mind...but that means the flood survived, which means we'll have to fight flood...not the best part of the game IMHO.

Your right that only Cortana and any ship-board AI has the cooridnates for Earth, but the captian has a neuro-lace that has a lot of information in it. Also, the Covenant obviously FIND Earth (See Halo 2 Trailer) so maybe the Covenant cruiser recieved a transmission on Earth coordinates or something, but the Flood do survive the Halo explosion b/c the next book regarding Halo is called "The Flood" which sets up the events in Halo 2. Unfortunately, the Flood do survive which means, yep, they're back. If Keyes does survive though (which would really suck for him since he's not really alive anymore) all hell's gonna break loose.

Do you know how the Covenant are on Earth? 343GS!!! He hacked into the PoA while Cortana was in it and was 'In my data streams, a local tap' if you listen closely on lvl 10, on the bridge. She had the co-ordinates of Earth and he found them. Then, if you watch the credits to the end, you'll notice 343GS hovers around at the end, not destroyed by the super-explosion. He sells the position of Earth to Covenant and lets them get revenge for destroying Installation 04, the planet he was assigned to. He also goes to activate the next ring.

That is a good possibility, yes. But, wait, I just had a thought. I was playing that lvl today on Normal [last level now, YES!]. The only part of Keyes left is his face and the MC had to get the code to destroy Halo. He broke the Captain's brain when getting the code.

And, the Flood wouldn't be able to escape Halo using him. He was completely Flood infested so he wouldn't have much knowledge of before.
Also, he was way too big to fit into a vessel. The only vessels left were Echo 419, the unable to fly PoA and odd Banshees. He wouldn't be able to take advantage of any Covenant vessel because they were all ordered off of Halo. So he was trapped there.

I'm not saying that Keyes himself made it off Halo. I'm saying that if the Flood managed to repair that damaged Covenant cruiser, they could have gained the cooridnates of Earths since the Covenant cruiser could hae been transmitted the information. Since the Flood had that blob thing on the ship's command center, the Flood could have gained the knowledge. So, back to Keyes, the cruiser could have been repaired and they could proceed to Earth and send a transmission to the UNSC that Keyes is alive. The Cruiser lands and the Flood is back. Just a theory, but maybe its a bit farfetched

Who the hell told you that the Brutes are a variation of the Flood???? I can understand how that's a theory, but there's no confirmation on it and if the Brutes are a variation of the Flood, why would they be called Brutes instead of Flood?
Also, the next Halo novel is going to be called "Halo: the Flood" and its going to set up the events in Halo 2. Why wouldn't the Flood come back? If you watch the last video at the end of the game, anything could've survived the destruction of Halo since it just broke apart and didn't explode or anything, but it would be annoying to have the Flood come back.
Also, the new race that's coming into play is.... THE BRUTES!!!! READ THE BUNGIE PAGE CAREFULLY!!!

That Halo ring world was destroyed. The only hopes of Flood returning is if something frees them on the next ring world that becomes active in Halo 2.

Keyes is dead. MC killed him when he took the neural implants. The Flood could not resurect him. The Flood did not get off Halo on the Truth and Reconciliation. It was badly damamged before the explosion, leaking tons of cooling fluid. This would not help with 100 million degree temperature. Even if it some how made it off, it could not land on Earth. The Humans are fighting off an entire Covenant Armada, they won't just let a huge cruiser land on Earth in the middle of the war.

Considering the Flood AREN'T STUPID (b/c if they were, they wouldn't have infected Keyes and put him in that blob thing!). Clearly they have some form of intelligence. I think that the Flood are like the Zerg from StarCraft or the Borg from StarTrek (Hive-mind, one being controls the workers and drones). But that's not what we're talking about.
My point about Keyes returning would be that the Flood would send Earth an AUDIO transmission (so they can't see who's on the cruiser) using Keyes' voice since they were intact. The humans would probably wonder why the MC left him behind and argue about it (Bungie kinda twist). Then either a) the Cruiser lands and the Flood spreads kissing Earth and the human race good bye or b) the MC and Cortana convinces them that the Flood have taken Keyes and destroy the cruiser.
I did not mean to say that Keyes himself would be reincarnated some how. That's obviously NOT possible becuase of the gaping hole in his fucking head!!!
For those who argue "it would suck if the flood came back," why would they be making a book called "Halo: THe Flood" (sequel to Fall of Reach) if they aren't gonna come back? Every Halo site says the Halo: The Flood will setup the Halo 2 story line a little. My guess is that the Flood WILL come back whether by my theory or on another Halo ring or some other weird way (ie Forerunner comes back or something).
I hope this clarifies what I was talking about earlier.
