Right, its me again. I'm having a lot of trouble with the bosses on legendary (heretic leader,regret,tartarus), namely that I've only managed to kill one out of three. Whats up with the Prophet of Regret? Is there any fast way to kill him in single player mode, NOT using a rocket launcher(I wasted mine and I don't want to restart the level) Sure, I guess it would be easier for me, if I hadn't managed to make a checkpoint under the platform where the prophet is standing(together with 2 Elites and a couple of Grunts) with no ammo for my dual needlers, and only 11 left on my Beam Rifle battery. I've tried running around, avoiding the Elites, and then boarding him, beating the... figgins... out of him. Unfortunately, since he teleports away after a while, I have to do this over and over again. And I always get killed after a couple of times. If you've got any tips, please take a minute to post them. Please. I have to finish the game on legendary faster than my pal BJ. (In case your reading this, BJ, I'm way ahead of u) Oh, and in case you missed my last topic, any tips on how to beat Tartarus on legendary are welcome. //Slash

Yo i found a way how to find a civillian warthog which is golden(+ a banshee) ITS WACK AND YOU CAN FIND IT ON THE MULTIPLAYER LEVEL HEADLONG ON THE TALLEST BUILDING! PEACE!!!!!!!

This one was new to me... Apparently you can get inside a warthog's passanger seat and replace yourself with a dummy while out of the warthog and one of two things.. One being you are still in the warthog while a motionless body of yourself remains outside and unmoveable while you remain inside the warthog or it's the other way around... When you finally exit the vehicle your body/soul will transfer back to itself where it is remaining motionless. Apparently you start by holding in (X) and contining to tap the (B) button. As you continue to do this you will not exit the vehicle. This part I know is true. However I can't get the rest to work... Supposedly you need to have another player board the warthog's driver side or passenger side (one or the other and drive off). Anyone who can confirm this and know exactly how to do this... I would gratefully appreciate an email to me explaining how. I know the sword canceling/flying glitch and other little tricks as well. I have already gotten on top of the foundation map and would also appreciate it if someone can email and others that they may have encountered as well. Any questions of the sword glitch (multiple ways of doing this of course) or want or care to know what I know. Feel free to email me at GemandJAM2004@aol.com to swap ideas.

There's a fine line between tricking and cheating... I think you'll find many find that the "dummy glitch" crosses this line. It's not a frogblast kind of exploration trick, it's just something people try to use to cheat online...I'm afraid you won't get much help with that here.

Agreed, A glitch in which causes the opposing team much trouble and harwork to counter should not be used. Grabbing through walls is okay, such as for Coag and Zanzibar, but no liek the one in Beaver Creek.

The only way to kill him is boarding. Apparently, on Legendary this takes about 5 boards to do, and yes, as you've seen, the real danger is getting polished off by Honor Guards in the meantime.

I always try to "soften him up" with the rocket launcher and the FRG, but to be honest, I can't even tell if that has any effect.

For the honor guards themselves-- stickydooms all the way. And if things get too hot-- just run, only a couple of HGs will actually follow you out of the temple. There's no real time limit on the level, despite what Cortana says.

I know this is a old topic but still ^^. I equipped my self with a battle rifle (or the covenate variation) and a plasma pistal. Go into the door, kill the little guys, then head to the higher platform to the left or right. From the top platform you just jump onto the prophet when you can. After jumping on him, wack him a few times, then run back up to the top level. Be warned that sometimes the gaurds follow. Plasma gun them, then shoot them in the head 1-2 ko.
