I also hope they do this. It would be a shame for Halo 2 not to have Blood Gulch included, for instance. Other games seem to be following this trend-- UT2k4 apparently includes a lot of maps from older versions of UT.

In reply to: Would be coolfirst time writing here so let's get to the point. will halo 2 support multiple team deathmatches. i love having two teams as in king of the hill and ctf, but in deathmatch when i network 4 xboxes and 16 guys with 8 on a team and the frag limit is 50 the match ends in like 5 minutes. i wish that bungie would either allow the frag limit to be adjusted to a much higher limit or allow the game to support more than 2 teams in deathmatch. does anyone feel the same way that I do?

I suppose some games, like Assault and CTF, are going to be built around assuming only two teams, but others like KOTH or the various ball games would probably work just as well with 3 or 4 different teams.

I'm pretty sure Bungie have stated that a few levels will be returning in Halo 2. If you have downloaded the "Bungie Factor" video off the net then pay close attention when Hamilton Chu is talking to a few Bungie employees. On the big screen behind him is a design for the level Battle Creek from Halo, yet he is showing clips from Halo 2.
It might still be early days yet, but there looks like a pretty high chance of that level coming back.

Kiss my life goodbye!
The original Halo multiplayer was enough to tide me over for over 2 years already (I still play it regularly with friends). The only thing left is online multiplayer! The proposed Spartan vs. Covenant wars sound really cool. I would also like, however, to see online co-op. I don't know if that's possible or not, but it sure would be cool. However, if there were frame-rate issues, then I'd rather they just leave it out so the game can be perfect like it's going to be. Also, I'd rather not see the original Halo maps return. I'd rather see a bunch of quality new maps that blow away anything from the original!

i dont know, but i do know that you can shoot the stalagtites from the cieling of waterworks, and they will fall down and crush anything
below. its really cool. You might need the Wraith to do it.
