Rampant AI you are right there is no Beta version of Halo 2 yet. It is still at its alpha form. Which means that it is a full-game but with many bugs and is likely to crash. Dont give me that B.S. that there is none. Besides my friend's, friend works for microsoft, so dont give me that FAQ crap. {OLDIE} The bad news for everyone besides Rampant AI is that it is installed into the persons XBOX. I dont know why, but it must be to prevent illegal copies manufactured. Good news he is moving to Pheonix,Az from Texas in Two weeks so that is probably when i will get my hands on that DEMO. (PHX) is where I live.

Why do I have a hard time believing this....
Okay, so call me crazy, but why is it that I have a hard time believing some dude who lives in Texas of all places has an Alpha version of Halo2 "installed" on the Xbox? Why in the world would there be a person in Texas working on the game? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that all bungie employees worked in their Redmond office?

In reply to: Beta!For Halo 1, there was no public beta test. This was not surprising; given that Halo was a launch title, testers would have needed access to Xbox Devkits to do testing.
Of course, now, with nearly fourteen million Xboxes out there around the world, theoretically a larger scale beta test could be done.
However, there has been no information published anywhere about a public Halo 2 beta test as far as I know; if anyone has heard different, now's the time.
