A couple of weeks ago i came up with an idea. "why don't i write my own book that will incorporate the ideas of hardcore Halo fans?"

This is my second blog post on rampancy and i want this one to be really successful. (my first blog post was Relations between Halo and the Bible)

Here is what im starting with. its not much but its sort of what we might come to see in Ghosts of Coral.

CHAPTER ONE-----------------------------

0500 hours, September 13, 2552 (revised date, Military
Calendar) Aboard Chiroptera-class vessel, on outbound
vector (entering Slipspace).

As soon as the port hatch doors of the Chiroptera-class vessel closed, Dr. Catherine Halsey started the mission in which there was no turning back. No, she thought as she fed power to the engines and to the Slipspace drive, there would plenty of opportunities to turn back. But this mission is too important to scrub.
As the vessel was leaving the launch bay of the UNSC destroyer Gettysburg, a screen flashed signaling that both the Gettysburg and the rebel base that was hidden in the asteroid field of Secundus Eridanus were hailing the Chiroptera-class vessel that Dr. Halsey was piloting.
Doctor Halsey took out her data pad from the breast pocket on her white lab coat and hooked it up to the control console in the Chiroptera-class vessel via the port jack above the computer terminal. She then typed in a 512 alphanumeric string and pressed ENTER. The space around the vessel boiled and it quickly disappeared into Slipspace. Normally, during a flight through slipspace, the captain and his crew would be put into cryotubes where they would be frozen for most of the voyage and then thawed out. But that didn’t matter because this slipspace jump would only take around five hours if her calculations were correct (which, no doubt at all, are correct). She turned around and looked at the only other passenger on the ship. A Spartan.

CHAPTER TWO----------------------------

0700 hours, September 13, 2552 (revised date, Military
Calendar) Aboard Chiroptera-class vessel, slipspace.

The Spartan known as Kelly-078 was lying down on some sort of bed in a dark and quiet room but there was a beeping noise coming from behind her. She tried to shift her body but she couldn’t. It was almost as if somebody had cut off all communication between her brain and the rest of her body. Then a figure appeared above her face. It was a face that would belong to a female. The female had rimmed glasses that hung from her neck. She was smiling.

“Hello Kelly, the sedative I injected into you should be wearing off in a little while. So maybe you should rest some more.

“But what about the Master Chief’s mission? she mumbled still trying to pull herself into an upright position. “Why aren’t we going to stay and help him to get back to Earth to warn them about the Covenant fleet?
“The Chief can take care of his team, he will make sure that everybody will get back to Earth safely and that the warning is sent.

“Then where are we going? Isn’t the Chief’s mission more important than anything?

“The ‘mission’ that we are going on is more important than the chief’s. she said still smiling, “This mission might even end the war!

“What? What are you talking about Doc? We should be with the chief and the other Spartans.

“Where we are going and what we are going to do is more important than what they are doing right now.

“ Then can you tell me what we are going to do then?

“Fine, I’ll tell you some of the details. she told Kelly in a reluctant voice, “Do you remember Chief Mendez?

These are the first 2 chapters with more to come.
your ideas are welcome and i will give credit if i use your ideas in my book.

I think the story is really good so far! The only problem is that whenever you use abbreviations like 'Master Chief's' and such, the apostrophe appears as "a^Coe." You may want to look into that. And not to be picky or anything, but your chapters could be a little longer, too.
