Let's Play Myth II: Soulblighter Co-op #03a A Long Awaited Drinking Party

See video
A Long Awaited Drinking Party

We're playing the next of Bungie's famous franchises, the Real Time Tactics fantasy wargame, Myth. Set in a mysterious land of cyclical war and destruction, Myth lets you command a ragtag army in a desperate battle against the forces of the Fallen Lords.

The poachers get liquored up and ready to hunt some deer. Careful, though, they're coming right for us...

In this episode we're once again using the high definition tagset, made by Ooga Booga, Renwood and Road. The Myth Myth HD Total Conversion v1.31 provides higher resolution units.

Due to the tireless work of many community members over the years, the Myth engine has been modernized to work on current operating systems, although you'll still need a copy of the game's data files to play. Check Ebay.

There's also multiplayer metaserver available for competitive carnage:

Myth: Sons of Myrgard

We're playing the next of Bungie's famous games, the Real Time Tactics fantasy wargame, Myth. Set in a mysterious land of cyclical war and destruction, Myth lets you command a ragtag army in a desperate battle against the forces of the Fallen Lords.

We must lead Dwarven Pathfinder Balin through a maze of Ghôl-ridden valley floors and find the exit to the secret level.

Special this episode: Blackstar vs Narcogen! Scheduling conflicts for this level mean we've got two performances; Blackstar and Ooga Booga (helped by Renwood) on one team, and Narcogen and Renwood on the other. Who will live to see the secret level, and who will die horribly? Watch and find out!

In this episode we're once again using the high definition tagset, along with Renwood and Road. The Myth Myth HD Total Conversion v1.31 provides higher resolution units.

The Bungie webmaster (never positively identified but vaguely described as a gorilla in a cowboy hat) seems to have been supplanted by Deej doing an impression of Alaistair Cooke. This would appear to be the first in a weekly series leading up to what we hope will be the Destiny reveal at GDC in March 2013. Like the Webmaster and the Mailbag, Deej is here dealing directly with missives from Bungiefen. Although this fan seems a bit confused about who made Halo 4...
