The bungie.org folk have painstakingly reconstructed the Fanfest Trivia Quiz and placed it here. Pit your knowledge against your little sister's, or your cat's, or that of whomever you can cajole or blackmail into taking it too.
These pieces were too good to miss... HBO posted a news item about several pieces of art that have been recently submitted by Jay Faircloth, and I think everyone should have a chance to look at them.
Additionally, the winners of the GoD Oni fan art competition (Jay got second place, after a somewhat masculinized version of Konoko) have been announced, and you can see the images over at OBO.
A newcomer to the forum, Decapentaplegic/DaveK posted a number of images from the Bungie Trivia Quiz. (Thanks man) Think you know enough? You can't handle the tru7h!!!
Tobin, known and beloved by those who frequent certain hotline servers in the Bungie fan community, (Don't accept any URLs if you don't know where they've been!) supplied us with another batch of images. His focus was more upon the people involved than the presentation given, including one shot of himself performing a public service. ;-)
As mentioned below, Cunbelin took many pictures while at the fanfest, a complete list of which can be found on the forum. For those of you daunted by the elegant, efficient naming scheme in that list, here's a few picks of the litter.
First off, a few Halo shots from the old, E3 engine build. Matt allegedly took the time to point out how ugly these shots are in comparison to the new engine builds:
The reports and images have begun to filter in from the MWSF 2001 Fanfest. All in all, it sounds like the attendees had a wild time, both there and afterward. Our very own SiliconDream won the Bungie trivia competition, for which he received a copy of the Oni soundtrack and a gold fan, imaginatively titled the #1 fan (aka The Chavez ) from Matt Soell.
