Kudos to mnemesis, who pointed out the first news post to www.bungie.com in nearly two months. To wit:

We've been holding off on making any major updates to this site until we got settled in and until we resolved some major questions about the future of both Bungie.com and Bungie.net. Fortunately, we're now about as settled as we'll get, plus we've made some decisions about the future of our different web sites that I believe will address all of the open questions. We're now in the process of generating a great deal of content, in the form of FAQ's and Articles, to support all Bungie games. As soon as this is complete we'll look into making some major changes to this site to reflect changes at Bungie. Sorry for the delays.

I can hardly wait for the more cynical interpretations of that second to last line. ;)
