Those literate fellas over at halo.bungie.org have pulled more info-packed quotes from the latest issue of PC Gamer UK. According to Louis Wu, the mag contains an article called Slippage Central which reads as follows:
Despite our 'Done When It's Done' column reading April for Halo last month, a release date for Bungie's handsome project has never been particularly clear. But Kieron did some poking around with his investigating stick at E3 and discovered that not only is the official release date now around Christmas, but that the likelihood of Bungie actually hitting it is minimal. An insider source says, confidently, March next year.
Bagman has posted another PC Gamer quote on the h.b.o. forum concerning spatial freedom (or lack thereof) in Halo:
Just reading the PCGamer UK Halo preview and this caught my attention on page 45. Bungie have decided that 'Total Freedom' is impossible, so have to border their levels in natural ways (for example, mountain ranges or the edge of the ringworld).
Rampancy will be bringing you more interesting PC Gamer UK stuff just as soon as one of us learns how to read. (Noc's doing well, but he's kinda stuck on One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish right now.)
