Frankie has brought back what used to be called the Bungie Rumor Control Database, this time in the form of RumorBuster. This installment covers charges for Halo 2 online play (there are none other than normal XBL charges), rumored ports of Halo 2 for other platforms, online player limits, cooperative play, and other points-- including the won't-die, hit-it-with-a-stick Halo 1.5 Gold rumor.
Editor's Note: It seems also that network coop play, a highly touted feature of the as-yet-unreleased Xbox version of Doom 3, is not going to be in Halo 2. Halo 2 will feature two-player, split-screen cooperative play, as the original did. However, on the upside, the article also suggests that Halo 2 might have some free downloadable content, but doesn't say what that will be.
Thanks to Gil27 for the heads-up.
