Recently Matt Soell posted an item at Bungie.net about Ghostweed Press, a new project by Matt Segur, ex programmer at Bungie who worked on Halo. Those projects include Segur's novel, soft power, described as a post-literature existential socio-political mystery serial fairy tale for the whole family . That's a mouthful.

Curious...
Hmm... you say "it turned out that notice was a bit premature and the releases weren't meant for the public."
Why do you say that?
CZ removed a link from a private Subnova forum froum our news post about Ghostweed - but the news itself actually had nothing whatsoever to do with that discussion. (My bad for not noticing that it wasn't in the public forum... but in fact Matt Segur had no access to that forum, and so the email from him was purely coincidental. Had I realized it was not a public forum, I would have known it was coincidental and wouldn't even have MENTIONED Subnova.)

Confuzzled, I think
In reply to: Curious...OK.. I guess I completely misunderstood your original post, then. I understood it to mean that the *ghostweed* site was private, so when I saw that post originally, I didn't even bother mentioning it.
Later, the item showed up in the Bungie.net news feed. And when I clicked the link to the ghostweed site, it worked.
I assumed from the two items that your story had posted links to previously private parts of the ghostweed site that had since been made public-- and this notion was reinforced by the "Available NOW!" bit on the ghostweed site-- I assumed that was there because they had just recently put it up.
But if it was the *subnova* forum item that was private, then I just mixed it up :) I thought the bit about private referred to GW and not SN. My bad.
If I figure out a way to correct the item without confusing it further, I'll do that-- otherwise I'll just remove mention of it completely and just link straight out to GW :)
Thanks for mentioning it :)
